PREPPING AND PRIMING THE BRIDAL PARTY

I met up with Andrew and Corey and all her bridesmaids at West Ashley's Salon Utopia at about 10:30 a.m., and we were supposed to have them all ready around 1 p.m. for photos. We did the makeup for the Groom's mother, three bridesmaids, and the bride!

My mission: Assisting Andrew with face and lip priming! And as Andrew has said in the past "Be sure to prime, it's worth the extra time!" It helps with the staying power of the makeup and assures flawless application. Here's me with bridesmaid Brooke Ryan, morning show DJ of 95SX, 95.1 fm in Charleston.

Starting the process I used Trish McEvoy's Even Skin™ Beta Hydroxy Pads -- an easy way to cleanse and exfoliate the skin! The Beta Pads also known to enhance skin tone, texture and clarity by wiping out dirt and dead skin cells.

For the women with skin more on the dry side I used Trish McEvoy 'Beauty Booster™' Cream, which instantly works like an anti-fatigue cream, lifting and firming the skin.

For the women with skin on the oily side, the Trish McEvoy Even Skin Face Primer did the job. It protects the skin contains light-reflecting properties creating a smooth invisible layer that protects the skin and enables the foundation to have the "just applied" look. Both moisturizers were also used on the lips.

To prepare for perfect eyes, I used the Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials, which is essential for the following: Prepares the eyelids for perfect shadow application, prevents creasing, extends the life of the shadow, allow shadow to appear more vibrant and true to its color

After I finished each person's priming, Andrew took over the from there for shadows and makeup style! Check back with the blog soon!
